I use this strap to hold my rear wheel when the seatpost is up, but I find myself using it for many other things. Attaching things to the straps on my Borough bag, for example. So I keep it in one of those bag straps all the time.
They are easy to fasten to the back of your saddle to keep a bigger bag, backpacks, suitcases in place. The straps would be even better if there was some more elasticity in it.
It's a big strap and it's big enough for the transport bag just like it says!
Don't think that just because the one side loops under the saddle that this can just live on the Brompton at all times and be ready to use if you haven't specifically made a way to bring it with you. It really can't be stored directly on the bike itself. Maybe if you have a tiny seat bag or something it can fit in there, it will depend on your specific setup.

somethings it just slip over to one side after a short distance ride when applied to luggage with round corners.
Need extra support to forcefully part away the two bands to prevent that from happening. I am still trying to find a stable way to do it, perhaps adding tension strings .
