Sightseer 4.0 Travel Set

I got a sightseer 4.0 for T-line and was very curious whether it will fit my modified T-line three folding bike with 18" wheels, 11 gears, disc brakes and a 600 mm seat post ... and I am very happy - the bag fits the bike (I only have to remove the saddle from the seat post).
The garment bag protects the bike, despite it's a bit more bulky than an original T-line.
The rigid bottom part of the sightseer seems to be sturdy enough to protect the bike, but - due to its rigidity - adds the risk to scratch the exposed corners on the bottom ... I would suggest to add some corner protections.
Overall I am very impressed about the quality of the bag, its folding mechanism and the detachable (!) wheels.

This case does it all. It can be rolled, carried comfortably with the shoulder strap, or worn as a backpack. I tour with a custom 20" folding bike of my own design, and the entire bike fits inside with the wheels removed.
I’ve tried plenty of bike bags and cases over the years, and this is easily the best. The build quality is superb, and every detail feels thoughtfully designed. Using saddle bags filled with touring clothes as added protection is genuinely clever.

I’m in Boston, paid for expedited shipping, and the case arrived in three days. I’ve also owned Bromptons in the past, and this case would be perfect for the 16" versions as well.
My only small quibble: there’s no obvious dedicated attachment point for the shoulder strap other than the main compression straps. It works, but feels slightly suboptimal.
Overall though, I’m genuinely blown away by this product. Love, love the back-pack feature (pictured).

This soft case is very convenient.
Since the wheels can be removed, you don’t have to worry about them getting damaged when checking it in for a flight.

It’s also easy to store at home — you can simply press it down to release the air, making it compact for storage.

The included panniers also help protect the bicycle, as clothing and other soft items inside them act as cushioning.
The idea is excellent, though I would appreciate it if the panniers could be made a bit lighter, since airline baggage has weight limits.

After my first trip with this bag and my C-line, I am very pleased. Website and purchase was smooth; the bag arrived quickly in spite of international shipping. I was easily able to pack the bike, helmet, and 5 days clothes with room to spare. Everything arrived without a scratch. The detachable wheels roll very smoothly over sidewalks and within the airport. I do have a couple of thoughts/suggestions for the next gen bag. First, the backpack mode is impractical. It is heavy with the bike/clothes/helmet in it and barely fits through some doorways. I would much rather have an strap or handle to make it easier to roll. Second, a heavily stitched in loop for airline bag tags. The airline employees at check in where a bit worried that there is no attachment point other straps, which could theoretically open and allow the tag to slip off. Very minor things, overall a fantastic bag that does its job very well.

I wonder how much weight can this bag widstand if used an front carrier bag with stuff in it for then I am riding the bike with my travel things in it..
