from 1090 reviewsAwesome kit, ingenious to give you extra packing space for clothes as padding. The ability to pop off wheels to check the bag, attach the collapsed bag to the front of the bike with the rack, and the addition of backpack straps for transport, make this bag highly versatile and adaptable, and the best choice Brompton travel bag. A bit concerned that the only structural piece is corrugated plastic (unsure of the longevity of this) but willing to risk for all of the great features of this bag.
This bag is well designed including a magnet to hold it in place, high-vis lining, and a pocket for an e-tracker. Just enough space to hold a multi-tool.
As always from Vincita - great quality and service.
I just used this bag on a four day tour in the Mekong River Delta. I liked how much extra room it offered me as well as all of the various pockets for easy retrieval. The attachment mechanism is solid and easy to use. When I wear this bag out. I will buy another identical one.
Great construction, thoughtful features. Turns my little e-brompton into a great touring bike.
Fits to the rear axle and stands the bike up well, it hasn’t fallen over yet!
I received this bag along with my Vincita BDR order, and it arrived in record time. Upon unboxing and inspecting it, I was initially hesitant about the price—it felt a bit on the higher side. However, after seeing the quality and craftsmanship firsthand, I now believe it's well worth the investment. You truly get what you pay for. It's a well-thought-out and beautifully designed product that clearly reflects attention to detail. I’m excited to put it to the test on my first Brompton bikepacking adventure in Japan
I have the old version of the Big Nash Rack Bag with the UniKlip v1, and the bars from the pannier platform prevent the lever from closing all the way. The bag is still able to grab the top platform though, and to be honest the grip is still very strong. I believe the UniKlip 2 (currently sold on the Big Nash) addresses this issue, but you should probably ask the company to confirm.
I was able to fit this rack to my Dahon Dash Altena with 20-inch (451) wheels. The rack is designed for 130mm dropouts, but it may still be possible to mount it to wider widths if you have disc brakes. Again, ask the company first.
As a dedicated folding bike rider I ride every day, rain, snow or sunshine. Vincita kept coming up as I searched for both a travel suitcase for my Brompton and for a well designed rear rack case. The Nash Pro is the best rear rack bag I have ever used on my Dahon's, Tern's and now Brompton. The sewing is impeccable and the design is highly functional, nothing added, nothing extra, pure function.
It's a really nice little bag. Clips on and off really easily and feels very secure. The process of mounting the other side of the clip to the bike was fiddly, but once done it's been perfect.
There's velcro to hold the phone pouch at the top, which is a lot stronger than I expected. Also, the phone pouch is solidly attached to the bag on the side so it's not going anywhere. When not using the phone, the panel folds down and looks really unassuming.
There is a shoulder strap which is functional but not as nice as the rest of the bag feels.
Due to my own carelessness I broke a plastic mount clamp securing a pack on my bike pannier. I was able to epoxy the clamp back together and carried on for over a year. Recently I surfed the web and found a catalog entry for what turned out to be exactly the same clamp from a supplier in Thailand. I am a happy camper! Just a PS for do-it-yourself people: PEX tubing has built-in memory, so 1/2" dia. tubing can be slit lengthwise and slipped over 3/8" rack bars to create a perfect shim for a 1/2" rack clamp!
Just big enough to put a spare tube in. Wrapped it in clear cellophane to keep grit out and give the tube the shape to fit snug in the bag. Shipped quickly!
