Single Layer Transport Bag for Brompton

I carried my Brompton as a checked bag on the airlines, carried onto trains and buses and strapped on the backs of Sept place bush taxis from Morocco to Senegal. Everything must pack on to the Brompton for true mobility. Yes you must strategically place padding around the bike.
At that time I used a yoga mat. Now I'll be using two large vacuum bags with a thin layer of clothes, one on each side of the bike. The rest of my clothes will be vacuum packed in my 21-1/2", Air France compliant carryon.
This Vincita bag is the best on the market for this job. Stiff bags will only work if you don't need to use the bike to go from your transport to your lodging.

I've done a lot of searching for this bag. So glad I found it.

I am very impressed with the cordura version of this bag. It is a lot more robust than the Dimpa bag, and while it doesn’t fold as small, it’s light so quite practical to travel with. It’s large enough to hold some clothes to pad the Brompton (would still remove the clamps and add a sock to the folding pedal - still not a hard case).

This is a well made single layer carry bag for a Brompton. I found the zippers to be stout. The bag is also generous in size but easy to fold back up in to its carry case. Some suggestions for future redesign of the bag: Make the height of the bag taller so that the seat on bikes with a rack which raises the bike’s height can remain on the bike without sticking out from the bag; include a horizontal strap sewn into the middle of the front of the bag so when carrying the bag on your shoulder there is something to grasp to help to distribute the bike’s weight; for ease of placing the bike into the bag, make the zippers go fully around the bag so the bag can be laid out completely open.

A versatile bag that is very easy to carry and plenty of extra space inside. The bag is excellently designed to be robust and beautiful compared to other brands.
